NewLaw Solicitors is one of the UK’s most innovative and fastest growing law firms, specialising in all areas of personal injury law from whiplash claims to catastrophic injury cases to Welfare, Wills, Trusts, Court of Protection and Probate, Employment Law and HR services.

Established in 2004 with the aim of providing a legal service that gets results for both our individual and commercial clients this approach has seen NewLaw grow from a start-up of 2 to over 500 staff in our Bristol, Cardiff and associated Glasgow offices.

Iris was the Greek goddess of the rainbow! At NewLaw "IRIS" was chosen by our employees as the name for our LGBT and staff forum. Our forum is open to all NewLaw employees, including straight allies. IRIS's aim is to maintain an inclusive workplace for staff and ensure the business fully engages externally with clients, partners and the wider community.

We support Stonewall Cymru in their mission to challenge prejudice and achieve social justice and legal equality for LGBT communities. NewLaw celebrates diversity and actively supports LGBT colleagues to ensure they feel valued and appreciated.

Training

Training and professional development is an important part of our culture as we want every member of staff to be the best they can be. Our in-house Employee Development specialists will ensure you have the necessary training to equip you for your role and help you to develop yourself whatever department you are in.

In addition to the traditional Solicitor training contracts on offer to existing employees we give you the chance to undertake work related professional development. We are currently supporting a variety of legal and non-legal professional qualifications such as CILEX and ACCA.
