The recruitment department at NewLaw is the start of your journey into a fulfilling and supported career. Our recruitment process is straightforward and considers all applicants on a fair and equal basis.

We recruit staff to fit the needs of the business and each individual role. Below is a guide on what to expect throughout your application process:

Role application
All our available vacancies can be viewed here. Once you have decided which role best fits your career aspirations and skill set, please submit your CV to careers outlining your salary expectations and notice period.

You will receive an automatic acknowledgement of your application.

  • Our recruitment team will review your application against the role you have applied for. If you have been successful at this stage, we will be in touch to arrange an interview or provide you a date to attend an assessment centre, depending on the role that you are applying for.
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your interview or assessment centre details, which will outline who you will meet, full location address and confirm whether you are expected to undertake an assessment.
  • If you do not meet the criteria required for the role, we will contact you to let you know that you have not been successful.
  • Following the interview, we will be in touch to let you know the next stages or outcome. If you have been successful, we will discuss the job offer over the phone and then confirm it in writing. If you have been unsuccessful at interview, we will let you know and you will be offered feedback to help you with any future applications.
  • Once a start date has been agreed, our Employee Development team will begin planning your training and induction, details of which will be sent to you before your start date.

We endeavour to keep you informed throughout the process. However, if you have any questions please either refer to our FAQs or contact us here.

We wish you every success with your application.
