Katie joined NewLaw in 2011 and heads up the Wills, Trusts and Probate team. Katie is also a Director of NewLaw Trustees Limited.
Katie acts on behalf of clients, providing practical advice on tax, estate planning, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, paying for care and Court of Protection cases. Katie has advised several clients with multi-million pound estates on the structuring of their assets and has managed multi-million pound settlements for clients who have sustained a brain injury.
Katie likes helping clients to understand their options and gives practical advice. Katie’s parents own a residential home, which has helped to shape her career helping vulnerable clients.

Carole previously worked with HM Revenue & Customs where she specialised in employer compliance issues. Carole is now a Solicitor at NewLaw and works on the Wills, Trust and Probate team in our Glasgow office since 2011. Carole currently works on the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, the administration of estates and trusts and inheritance tax planning. In addition, Carole regularly processes adults with incapacity actions through the Sheriff Courts and conducts her own court appearances. She gives clients sensitive and pragmatic advice on these personal issues to best reflect the clients own wishes and circumstances.
An enthusiastic member of a Glasgow choir, Carole enjoys both participating in and watching live musical performances. She has three adult children who still live at home with her, and this gives her the opportunity to practice her passion for cooking and baking.

Rob is a Director of NewLaw Trustees Ltd and specialises in catastrophic injury claims and in particular adult and child brain injury cases. Rob also acts as Professional Deputy appointed by the Court of Protection to assist people in managing their financial affairs after they have lost mental capacity.
Rob joined NewLaw in January 2009 having previously been a partner in the catastrophic injury team at a neighbouring Cardiff firm. He is a graduate of Reading University and undertaken further study at The University of Glamorgan and Iowa State University in the USA.
In 2004 Rob became a Trustee of the Child Brain Injury Trust and is now chair of that organization. He is also the chair of the Prop Appeal raising money for the neuro-rehabilitation unit at Rookwood Hospital in Cardiff and an active supporter of Headway Bridgend having sat on the steering committee.
He is well travelled having spent time in Canada, the USA and Mexico. He now lives with his wife and two children in Cardiff. His interests include Radyr Rangers FC, rugby, skiing and is attempting his first triathlon. Rob is also a qualified fork lift truck driver.

Natalie joined the Wills, Trust and Probate team at NewLaw in September 2014. Natalie specialises in Court of Protection and works closely with clients who lack capacity to manage their own financial affairs. Natalie also advises client’s in relation to Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estate Planning, Wills and Personal Injury Trusts.
Natalie prides herself on the relationships that she establishes with clients and their families who require legal assistance and support during difficult times.
Steph is a member of our dedicated Court of Protection Team and has worked at NewLaw since 2008.
Steph works with clients on a day to day basis ensuring their needs are met and has built up good relationships with them and their families. Her favourite part of the role is interacting with her client and their families.
In her spare time, Steph enjoys cooking, doing yoga and spending time with her family.
