In a word – nothing. We deal with claims under a Conditional Fee Agreement. This means that if you win your case our costs are paid by the losing party. If you have Legal Expenses Insurance, this will cover our costs.

How do I make the claim?

How long will my claim take to settle?
This will largely depend on the extent and nature of your injuries and the circumstances of the accident. At NewLaw we are committed to speeding up the claim process.
On average, personal injury claims take in excess of 18 months from start to finish. We aim to resolve straightforward cases within 12 months. For more serious injuries the process may take longer but we promise to cut out any unnecessary delays.
How much will I get for my injury?

Is there a time limit for me to claim?
Yes – you have 3 years from the date of your accident to pursue your claim. If you are under 18 at the time of the accident you will have until you turn 21 to pursue your claim.
The vast majority of claims settle out of court. If for any reason, your claim is one of the few that ends up in Court, we will be with you every step of the way to ensure that the whole process is as painless and straightforward as possible.
Do I have to pay for any medical examinations?
No, we will make all the necessary arrangements for you to be examined by an appropriate expert and the cost will be recovered from the losing party at the end of the case.
