Occupational Illness

Occupational Illness

Making a claim for an Occupational Illness can be complicated and time consuming.  NewLaw will make the process as easy and painless as possible.  We are dedicated to getting you the compensation you deserve as quickly as possible and with the minimum of fuss. We drive the process proactively every step of the way.

The key stages in a claim are set out below.  You will have to help us by attending a medical examination and keeping details of all your expenses.  Other than that, we will do all the hard work for you.

Although every claim is unique we aim to achieve a settlement of uncomplicated claims within 18 months from the date of instruction.  If liability is denied by the Defendant and the matter has to proceed to a court hearing, it can take longer - sometimes upto 24 months and in certain cases even longer.  The length of the case does vary, however, depending on the complexities fo each individual case, the number of defendants and the injuries suffered.  The vast majority of cases are settled before trial however and there is usually no need to attend court.

BT Telecoms Deafness
