Crash woman airlifted to hospital with serious injuries

A woman has been taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a car crash.
On Sunday (June 20th), a Citroen Saxo collided with a Volkwagen Golf in Fratton, Portsmouth.
One of the drivers had to be cut out of her car by firefighters after she said she had hurt her back and neck.
Speaking to the Portsmouth News, fireman Paul Allison said: "If someone complains of neck or back pain we have to be very careful indeed, so we took the roof off the car and lifted her on a board to the ambulance."
The driver was then put on a spinal board before being taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham.
Paramedics attended to both victims but the other driver was unharmed in the accident.
Earlier this month, the newspaper reported a two-car collision on the M27 near Fareham. Police arrived at the scene but confirmed that there were no injuries.
