On the 30th September a team of four from NewLaw Solicitors in Cardiff, will embark on the first leg of a gruelling three day bike ride from London to Paris in aid of the Limbless Assocation, NewLaw's nominated charity.
NewLaw Chief Executive, Helen Molyneux, is joined by her colleagues Karen Meggitt, Nigel Mills and Peter O'Hanlon and they will be aiming to cover between 88 - 114km per day. You can follow the teams progress on twitter @newlawnews
The Limbless Association offer friendly and impartial information on all aspects of limbloss, providing a national "voice" for the UK prosthetic patients, encouraging best practice in the industry and promoting equal opportunities in the community.
NewLaw's aim is to raise £20,000 for the Limbless Association to help support their telephone information and advice services which are vital lifeline for people who have suffered amputation injuries and their families. Through the work that Nigel and the Serious Injuries Team do, they see first hand the life changing impact losing a limb can have and how essential the services are that the Limbless Association provide.
This is just one of a number of fundraising activities that are taking place throughout the year and culminating in NewLaw's Hallowe'en Charity Ball taking place on Saturday 15th October at the Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff.
