NewLaw aim to raise £10,000 for The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA)

NewLaw Solicitors is one of the fastest growing law firms in the country acting for clients in all types of personal injury actions and in particular motorcycle accidents.

Road traffic accidents are the major cause of spinal cord injury and NewLaw has one of the most experienced Serious Injury teams in the country dealing with these most severe of injuries. Acting for clients with these difficulties brings to the fore the challenges that they encounter every day of their lives.

The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) offer life long support to those who have suffered spinal cord injury and their families and carers. The charity strives to improve quality of life, to increase knowledge and awareness of such injuries and campaign for the best medical practice and social support to those who have suffered such an event. For these reasons, they are our nominated charity for 2010.

To heighten awareness of the work done by the SIA and to raise much needed funds to support their projects several avid motorcyclists from NewLaw are attempting to raise £10,000.00 for the charity through various internal and external fund raising events. The main focus of this fundraising is three of our colleagues namely Mike Brown, Raj Rajamohan and Rob Beer undertaking a 1300 km motorcycle trip across Northern India starting on 15th October 2010 on Royal Enfield Bullet motorbikes.

The trip will last some 10 days taking in such sites as the Golden Temple at Amritsar, the foothills of the Himalayas, the home of the Dalai Lama at Dharamsala and camping on the banks of the River Ganges. You can follow their progress via our website www.new-law.co.uk

Following their arrival home, a black tie charity ball has been arranged at the Holland House Hotel, Cardiff on Saturday 30th October 2010 starting at 7.00pm. All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle and auction prizes will go to the SIA.
