Job Description
|
To profitably manage a caseload of personal injury claims and assist the Team Leader with the supervision, mentoring and development CA/ACM colleagues in the Personal Injury Unit.
The ideal candidate will be required to:
1) Manage a caseload of files with the assistance of an Assistant Case Manager or Case Assistant
2) Work within the firms standard service levels and/or those applicable to particular client accounts
3) Manage all cases in association with their ACM/CA in the best interest of the Claimant at all times
4) Working on cases in excess of £7k, case load will consist of more complex matters
5) Accurately record all time spent
6) Meet income and time recording targets

Skills Required
|
1) Law degree and LPC are desirable plus at least 2-3 years experience working in either a Solicitors or Insurers environment
2) In depth knowledge of Personal Injury Liability and quantum issues with a willingness to keep up to date with legal developments
3) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
4) IT Literate
5) Self Motivated
6) Ability to concentrate in an open office environment
7) Ability to work well with others
8) Ability to prioritise work to meet tight deadlines and targets
9) Excellent organisational skills
10) Time keeping
11) Effective people skills - mentoring and training junior members of staff
12) Ability to motivate team members to achieve individual and team targets, whilst maintaining the firms profitability and level of service to clients
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 (appointment within the salary range will be dependent upon the skills and experience of the candidate)
